Precision Design Concepts offers the following in-house: assemblies, powder-coating, vinyl graphics, 3-D printing and heat treating. Offering these services in addition to our design and manufacturing services gives you the ability to get what you need all in one place. This eliminates the need for your procurement department to have to find multiple vendors to complete your project. This allows us to give you more accurate scheduling dates on your projects and lowers cost because we control all of these applications in-house.
Precision Design Concepts offers custom to medium assembly runs of manufactured parts. We provide this service to offer a complete turnkey solution for your business. Assembling is the joining of two or more parts using screws, adhesives, rivets, welding and soldering or other processes. We offer mechanical assembly here at our facility using parts we produced for your business. We also will assemble components or materials you provide or have had outsourced by other vendors. Precision Design Concepts has the equipment and expertise to deliver quality assembled parts.
We are equipped with power wrenches, power screwdrivers, rivet guns, bag sealers, scales, labelers and more. Assemblies can be packed to customer specifications and drop-shipped to your business or a distributor. If you looking for a company who can manufacture your parts, apply finishes and assemble them, look no further.
Precision Design Concepts offers powder-coating on our own projects in addition to your own custom projects. Powder-coating your projects gives it a lasting appearance and outstanding durability. This finish is both durable and attractive while providing resistance to chemicals, scratches, and rust.
Powder-coating is a dry finish process that bakes the powder into the molecules of the base metal. This, in turn, gives you a much longer lasting finish than normal painting processes. We offer many colors and finishes and are able to match most colors upon request.
Precision Design Concepts offers 3-D printing, also known as additive manufacturing. We employ this process in-house on both our own designs and customer projects. This application allows you more visualization of your product before it is produced and catches any manufacturing flaws that may need to be addressed in your original design. Prototyping parts using 3-D printing can also be useful if replicating broken or worn parts that are no longer available. This allows us to test-fit the design in the existing project to ensure quality fit and reduce cost and wasted materials in the final product.
Precision Design Concepts offers heat treatment and annealing of tool steel and chromoly steel. Heat treating involves heating and cooling the metal in such a way as to result in a defined condition or property. This typically results in hardening the metal, but can also soften the metal, which is called annealing. We heat treat for the following reasons:
We use our in-house heat treat oven to anneal or harden steel to aid in our in-house grinding processes.
